Stillwater Garden Club

Meetings held on Wedsnesdays:

May 16, May 23, and June 6

3:30 - 4:30pm

In the Stillwater Garden (right next to bus pick-up)

Stillwater' Garden Club is back by popular demand!  Join us in the Stillwater Garden as we get our hands and knees dirty learning about plants, soil, beneficial insects, and composting.  Students will be planting, caring for, and harvesting a Spring crop for themselves, as well as planting a "Row for the Hungry" to benefit the local food pantry.

The Garden Club will also be in charge of Lunchtime Composting Week from May 21-25, where they will learn about food waste, proper composting techniques, and ways we can cut down on garbage amounts in order to help the environment.  Garden Club meets rain or shine, so wear your boots and play clothes.  Parents and siblings are also more than welcome to join us.  A one time donation of $5 is suggested, but not required.  The donations will be used to buy seeds, starts, and composting materials for this year's club.

Staff Appreciation Week!!!
We hope our wonderful Stillwater faculty are enjoying a well deserved week of pampering and delicious food!  Thank you so much to our parent volunteers who have created beautiful door posters, brought in food and gifts, and washed cars!  Great thanks to our Stillwater PTSA Board, led by Christine Hillestad, who have enthusiastically worked to make this week a special "Thank You" to our faculty!
